Following a profound spiritual experience in 2018, Blaine sensed a profound calling to serve individuals experiencing homelessness. Seeking guidance, he earnestly prayed for direction, even laying out a heartfelt request for a sign from a higher power: to lead him to his long-lost classmate, Kevin Shrode, who was reportedly living on the streets nearby. Despite initial setbacks in his search, Blaine remained steadfast in his faith. Determined to act in service to his beliefs, he decided to extend kindness by offering sandwiches to a group of homeless individuals he encountered on a street bench. In a remarkable twist of fate, one of the men responded to the gesture with the name "Kevin." In that moment, Blaine recognized the divine intervention guiding him toward his newfound mission in homeless outreach ministry.
